South Side Baptist Church exists to glorify God by helping people
become disciples of Jesus.

Our Beliefs
There is One True God . . .
God is perfectly righteous and holy in all his ways, he is the Creator and Ruler of all that is, and he exists in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

There is One Final Authority . . .

The Bible is God’s perfect, unchanging, written revelation of himself to all people in all places at all times.
​
There is One Ultimate Problem . . .
​
All people are sinners against God by nature and by choice and are therefore separated from God without any hope of rescue unless God intervenes on their behalf.
​
There is One Divine Solution . . .
​
God has lovingly intervened on behalf of sinners by sending his Son, Jesus, to pay the price for sin through his death and to conquer death through his resurrection so that everyone who repents of sin and believes in Jesus as Savior and Lord will receive God’s free gift of salvation.

There is One Great Commission . . .
​
God’s people are commanded to go and make disciples of all nations by proclaiming the gospel of Jesus and teaching those who believe how to live for the glory of God according to his word.
